"Finding common ground among faiths can help us bridge needless divides at a time when unified action is more crucial than ever. As a species, we must embrace the oneness of humanity as we face global issues like pandemics, economic crises and ecological disaster. At that scale, our response must be as one."
~Tenzin Gyatso from a New York Times Op-Ed well worth reading entitled Many Faiths, One Truth

"DEEP LISTENING TO GAIA" AN INTERVIEW WITH WENDE BARTLEY Wende Bartley has been a composer for over 20 years. On May 20, 2010 she presented on her work "Art and Voice as Healing Powers," sponsored by the Center for Spiritual Inquiry and Integral Education at Gaia House Interfaith Center, to a group of eight people. R. Michael Fisher sat down with Wende the day after in an interview (see excerpt below) ... for the full interview go to Michael's website
M: I feel like we should be walking the labyrinth doing this?.... Are you talking about Gaia? Being in-synch with Her intelligence?
W: Yes, I think that is what I mean, being in-synch with the earth; understanding Gaia as a sentient and intelligent being. One aspect of my practice is to tune-in to Gaia and her intelligence. As one aspect of that, I also understand sound as a field of intelligence. So in a sense, those walks [on the labyrinth] were a converging of those two aspects.
M: Wende, I understand you are involved with a Gaia network of subtle activism.
W: Yes, it's the Gaia Field Center for Subtle Activism, which is connected to the California Institute for Integral Studies...".
