    HONEST SPIRITUAL COMMUNITY
    INTERVIEW WITH HUGH MULDOON

Recently, R. Michael Fisher, Director of the Center for Spiritual Inquiry and Integral Education at Gaia House Interfaith Center, did a spontaneous interview on his blog with Hugh Muldoon, past Director and now Emeritus Board Member of GHIC. The following is a brief excerpt from the longer interview:

Hugh: I don't want to be overly dramatic but the house (ecos) is burning down--bit by bit.... The short story is, Gais is the boss! Meaning we better be thankful that Gaia has been relatively benevolent and we better be sure that we get up in the morning and listen to our (Gaia's) agenda for the day.

Michael: Is that hard for you? What get's in the way?

Hugh: Yeah. Work gets in the way; religion gets in the way`. The messages of our dominant cultural life-style (e.g., busy-ness, buy-accumulate) are subtle and not so subtle in getting in the way."

Visit Michael's blog for the full interview of Hugh's work at Gaia House Interfaith Center and his spiritual vocation.
